Some of our favorite jobs start with a client who already knows exactly what they want. This homeowner had a clear vision - a functional, good-looking backyard with a solid patio, defined paths, natural stonework, and clean separation between spaces. Our job was to make it happen, and that's exactly what we did.

We laid a large format concrete paver patio right off the back of the house. Clean lines, tight joints, steel edging on every border to keep things sharp and in place. From there, a gravel path leads out through the yard, with natural flagstone pieces stepping out from the patio edge - a nice detail that bridges the hard and soft elements of the space. The stonework ties the whole yard together without feeling overdone.

Further back in the yard, we worked with the existing topography - boulder clusters, mature trees, and a sloped section that needed a retaining wall to hold things in check. Fresh compost mulch was spread throughout the planting beds, giving everything a finished, clean look. The steel edging runs consistently through the whole yard, keeping the beds crisp and the paths contained.

The cedar screen fence was built by hand on-site. Two of our guys kneeling on the patio, fitting each slat, making sure spacing was consistent all the way across. That kind of detail work is what separates a yard that just functions from one that actually looks like something. The cedar also ties in with the existing fence material, so nothing feels out of place.

When you bring us a plan - even just a rough idea - we work to execute it the right way. Solid patio installation, gravel paths with proper edging, stonework that fits the landscape naturally. That's the standard we hold every job to, no matter the size.
